To help raise some well needed funds for the club. Luke Wyndham will be completing an An Accelerated Freefall (AFF) from 12,000ft. This is a solo jump with a free fall for about 40 seconds before Luke has to open his own chute at 6000ft and then control his decent and landing. This is a level1 sky dive, the first step to becoming a qualified skydiver.
Luke is paying for the jump and all the donations raised will go to Med-sac to help with the compressor move.

Friday 12th Oct Full day of training completed, my head is spinning so much to remember and think about and only seconds to make the correct decisions. I have gone from being supper excited this morning to being very anxious by the end of the day. Jump day tomorrow!!!!!!
Saturday 13th the day started with revision and practicals. this didnt start off very well. we were all fingers and thumbs. we just couldnt get our drills right! but after a hour of coaching we had it down to military precision and were ready for the real thing. But the weather had a different idea and we were postponed until there was a gap in the clouds. We finally went up, but after 15mins of circling around at 12000ft we were told it was just too cloudy to jump. i didnt know if i was gutted or relieved to get out of that small roller-coaster!!
Saturday 27th Oct I woke this morning and blue sky's, lets get this on! Back to Headcorn. but another day of disappointment, the wind is over 15mph and just to windy to jump. I will have to come back another day.
